Whole Earth & Sea Women's 50+ Multivitamin & Mineral is a vegan, whole-food-based tablet multivitamin formulated by Natural Factors specifically for women over 50, with particular attention to the nutritional shifts that accompany post-menopause.
The formula is built around the Farm Fresh Factors™ system, which starts with 200 grams of fresh raw plants processed using the EnviroSimplex® method to retain and intensify the total goodness of whole food into rich living food. The formula features thiamin as benfotiamine (a lipid-soluble form of vitamin B1), riboflavin as riboflavin-5'-phosphate, niacin as inositol hexanicotinate, vitamin B6 as pyridoxal-5'-phosphate, folate as (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid (MTHF) glucosamine salt (Quatrefolic®), and vitamin B12 as methylcobalamin. Pantothenic acid is provided as pantethine. Vitamin D3 is sourced from lichen. Vitamin K2 is provided as Menaquinone-7 (MK-7) from natto bean. Vitamin E is provided as d-alpha-tocopherol from sunflower seed oil. Vitamin A is provided as natural-source beta-carotene from Dunaliella salina algae (whole), with additional natural-source mixed carotenoids (alpha-carotene, cryptoxanthin, zeaxanthin, and lutein from Dunaliella salina). Alpha-lipoic acid and boron (citrate) round out the formula.
The product is non-GMO, suitable for vegans, and manufactured to ensure safety and potency in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) of the FDA and Health Canada.
