Ultra Binder is a multi-binder powder supplement made by Quicksilver Scientific. It combines activated charcoal, chitosan, sodium bentonite clay, Inavea Original (gum Arabic), zeolite, and BiAloe Aloe Vera Leaf with a proprietary thiol-functionalized silica extract (IMD intestinal cleanse) into a single formula intended to support the body's normal elimination of a wide array of toxins through the gastrointestinal tract.
Activated charcoal contains millions of tiny pores that capture toxins in the gut, including metals, bacterial lipopolysaccharide, and mycotoxins; it is well-tolerated and readily excreted in the stool. Chitosan is a water-soluble polysaccharide derived from the outer skeleton of shellfish; it binds heavy metals and microbes and may support the growth of beneficial gut bacteria. Sodium bentonite clay is a creamy gray volcanic ash; each molecule has a vast surface area capable of binding to numerous substances, including heavy metals, mold toxins, and LPS, a pro-inflammatory bacterial byproduct. IMD intestinal cleanse is Quicksilver Scientific's proprietary mercury-binding complex containing thiol-functionalized silica molecules that bind to mercury and support its elimination through the gut; IMD does not enter the bloodstream and will not lead to a redistribution of metals throughout the body. BiAloe Aloe Vera Leaf contains acemannan, an oligosaccharide compound that soothes the gastric mucosa and supports normal gut flora. Inavea Original (gum Arabic) is rich in soluble fiber, which helps normalize gut motility and supports beneficial gut bacteria growth.
