ReadiSorb Liposomal Glutathione is a liquid liposomal formulation of reduced glutathione, available in a 4 fl oz bottle. The active ingredient is Opitac™ Glutathione, a branded form of reduced l-glutathione. The liposomes in ReadiSorb are derived from hydroxylated lecithin, an extract of soybean oil, not soy protein.
Glutathione is a tripeptide composed of three amino acids: glycine, glutamine, and cysteine. Cysteine contains sulfur, which contributes to the product's characteristic aroma and plays a central role in glutathione's antioxidant and detoxification functions. Glutathione supports the body's antioxidant defenses against free radicals and helps maintain normal cellular function. It supports immune system function and the body's natural elimination of toxins.
The formulation uses Opitac™ Glutathione, which is highly studied, with the manufacturer citing publication in over 11 studies. At end of shelf life (2 years, refrigerated) approximately 350 mg per teaspoon remains, as some natural oxidation occurs over time.
The formula is gluten-free and alcohol-free. Glycerin, derived from palm fruit oil, is included as a sweetener and preservative and supports liposome stability and extended shelf life. Potassium sorbate is included as a natural preservative. This product is refrigerated and must be stored between 36–46°F (2–8°C).
