Jarrow Formulas® MK-7 is a vitamin K2 supplement delivering Vitamin K2 as MK-7 (Menaquinone-7) per softgel. MK-7 is naturally produced via fermentation by Bacillus subtilis subsp. natto. MK-7 is a longer-acting form of vitamin K compared to K1 and MK-4, and serves as a cofactor for carboxylation of specific proteins needed to build bones and support cardiovascular health.
Each softgel is formulated with medium chain triglycerides (modified coconut oil) and olive oil as the carrier base, enclosed in a bovine gelatin softgel. Jarrow Formulas® MK-7 carries Non-GMO and Gluten Free designations and is free of wheat, gluten, soybeans, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts, and sesame.
Jarrow Formulas has formulated supplements around published science since 1977, using clinically studied ingredient forms at research-relevant doses.
