MegaSporeBiotic is Microbiome Labs' flagship multi-strain spore probiotic, delivered in capsule form. It is described as the first all-spore probiotic supplement formulated to support healthy gut microbiome balance.
The formula contains a proprietary probiotic blend of five Bacillus spore strains: Bacillus indicus (HU36™), Bacillus licheniformis (SL-307), Bacillus clausii (SC-109), Bacillus subtilis (HU58™), and Bacillus coagulans (SC-208). Each strain is identified by a specific strain designation, and several carry proprietary strain designations (HU36™, HU58™).
Bacillus indicus HU36™ produces vitamins and carotenoids, including astaxanthin, zeaxanthin, and α-carotene. Bacillus subtilis HU58™ secretes antimicrobial compounds, supports healthy liver function, and produces nattokinase and vitamin K2. Bacillus clausii SC-109 is known for supporting a strong and balanced immune system. Bacillus coagulans SC-208 produces L+ lactic acid to support immune and gut defense and promotes β-galactosidase (lactase) activity to aid lactose breakdown. Bacillus licheniformis SL-307 aids protein digestion and B-vitamin synthesis.
MegaSporeBiotic is made in the U.S. with globally sourced ingredients. It is free from the 9 major allergens, gluten free, Non-GMO, and suitable for vegans and vegetarians. No refrigeration is required.
