Artemisinin Emulsion is a liquid liposomal supplement from Quicksilver Scientific delivering artemisinin — the active sesquiterpene lactone constituent of Artemisia annua — in a phosphatidylcholine-based emulsion format.

Artemisia annua synthesizes powerful 'bitter' compounds called sesquiterpene lactones. Artemisinin is the primary active constituent of this botanical, and bitter molecules of this type interact with over two dozen specialized receptors found throughout the body — on the tongue, nose, sinuses, lungs, heart, intestines and more. Artemisinin has a unique ability to form oxygen radicals, which has made it a prominent herb in Chinese herbal traditions dating back thousands of years.

Because traditional oral formulations of artemisinin have low bioavailability, Quicksilver Scientific founder Dr. Christopher Shade, Ph.D., developed this liposomal artemisinin format. The formula uses Quicksilver Delivery Systems — phospholipid-based delivery technology that also provides phosphatidylcholine to cells as part of the delivery matrix. The emulsion is presented as a liquid for oral use.

Artemisinin Emulsion is tested gluten-free, vegan, non-GMO, allergen-free, and soy protein-free. It is manufactured to cGMP standards.

Artemisinin — supports the body's normal interaction with bitter botanical compounds via specialized bitter receptors; has a unique ability to form oxygen radicals and has been used in Chinese herbal traditions for thousands of years.

Phosphatidylcholine — forms the liposomal delivery matrix and nourishes cells with phospholipids as part of the delivery system.

Take 1 teaspoon by mouth 1 to 3 times daily or as directed by your health professional. May be taken directly by mouth or mixed into water or juice (grapefruit is best). Take on an empty stomach, at least 10 minutes before meals.
